• Strong accounting principles, internal controls, and reporting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small accounting team, including workload management, coaching, training, and day-to-day oversight
• Oversee general accounting and transactional activities, including account reconciliations, transaction review, account maintenance, and accounts payable
• Participate in month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, account review, and supporting schedules
• Review financial transactions and account activity for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and review reporting related to cash flow, aging, reconciliations, and performance
• Partner with operations and leadership to support financial analysis and process improvements
• Support internal and external audits and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small accounting team, including workload management, coaching, training, and day-to-day oversight
• Oversee general accounting and transactional activities, including account reconciliations, transaction review, account maintenance, and accounts payable
• Participate in month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, account review, and supporting schedules
• Review financial transactions and account activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
• Prepare and review reporting related to cash flow, aging, account reconciliations, and operational performance
• Partner with operations and leadership to support business initiatives, financial analysis, and process improvements
• Support internal and external audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, strengthen accounting processes, and enhance reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including hands-on general accounting responsibilities
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
