Qualifications

• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls in GAAP compliance.
• Manage multiple entities including corporate books, family trusts, and LLCs.
• Possess strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Advanced Excel skills: complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations across entities (corporate, trusts, LLCs).
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements for all entities.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
• Process journal entries, adjustment entries, AP/AR accruals, and reclassifications for close.
• Review payroll registers and post payroll journal entries and tax entries to GL.
• Coordinate tax returns (corporate, LLC, trust, individuals) and quarterly estimated payments.
• Lead 401(k) audit coordination and internal control testing.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff and collaborate with Operations, HR, and IT.
