ImmunityBio is a biotechnology company based in Southern California seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting for contractual arrangements across the product and service portfolio. The role ensures accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial records, with leadership of month-end close and SOX controls.

Responsibilities include coordinating journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Deep experience with GL journal entries and reconciliations.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in a life sciences company preferred.
• Experience leading a small team preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsabilités

• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations and reports for accuracy across multiple areas.
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances and provide justifications.
• Review monthly expenses and contract listings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial results.
• Lead month-end close processes and ensure SOX compliance.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and resolutions.
• Contribute to process improvements and provide training as needed.
