Job summary

TPI Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

This role drives month-end and year-end close, supports leadership, and ensures strong internal controls across departments. You will partner with Sales and regional teams, conduct margin analyses, and lead budgeting and forecasting for the sales division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, technology, SaaS, FMCG, or other sales-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and controls.
• Experience reviewing contracts, financial terms, and payment milestones.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting/finance staff.
• High integrity and commitment to accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Director and regional teams as the primary finance business partner.
• Conduct gross margin analysis by product, customer segment, and sales channel.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for the sales division, including revenue targets and expenses.
• Prepare monthly management and financial reports.
• Oversee sales commission and bonus calculations, approvals, and payouts.
• Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage accounts receivable aging and customer credit limits to minimize risk.
• Maintain internal controls related to sales orders and cash application.
• Forecast cash inflows based on payment and collection cycles.
• Partner with Sales to address payment delays and improve cash conversion.
• Oversee inventory valuation, costing, and reconciliations.
