Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a Tulsa-based organization in their search for an Accounting Manager to join their permanent team. This role oversees daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains internal controls, and leads month-end and year-end closes.

You will supervise accounting staff, partner with leadership to support financial objectives, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate audits and serve as a liaison with external auditors.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Support strategic initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
