Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and drive a structured month-end close and financial reporting process. You will report to the Controller, supervise staff, review reconciliations, and enhance internal controls.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on improving processes, controls, and team performance while ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GL and month-end close experience.
• Extensive balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of revenue, AR, AP, cash, and payroll accounting.
• Ability to improve processes and internal controls.
• Comfortable in a hands-on, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close execution and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding issues.
• Oversee cash, treasury, and bank reconciliations.
• Review revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense accounting.
• Oversee payroll accounting, benefit reconciliations, and related accruals.
• Supervise and review the work of staff accountants.
• Manage daily treasury activities with approved controls.
• Maintain close schedules, documentation, and accounting records.
• Perform final review of month-end close package before results.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Partner with Controller to transition accounting in-house.
