Heron Power Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager/Senior Accounting Manager to build and scale the accounting function at a high-growth technology and manufacturing company.

Reporting to the Controller, this role ensures accurate, timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting and supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The role will own AP, accruals, payroll, AR/revenue, fixed assets, inventory, and general ledger activities, partnering across the business to improve reporting

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with manager-level ownership in a high-growth or fast-changing environment.
• Strong U.S. GAAP understanding and ability to apply accounting principles to daily operations.
• Proven ability to design, document, and improve accounting processes and internal controls as volume grows.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee Accounts Payable, vendor invoice processing, and payment readiness.
• Establish and maintain monthly accrual processes for expenses.
• Review payroll changes, benefit deductions, and 401(k) contributions; prepare journal entries.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, invoicing, and collections; reconcile AR and revenue.
• Maintain fixed asset capitalization policy and depreciation methods; track CIP and capitalization timing.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with journals and reconciliations.
• Leverage finance systems and automation tools to improve close efficiency and data quality.
