Job summary

The Bolton Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its expanding manufacturing operations. The role focuses on month-end close, G/L reconciliations, fixed assets, CAPEX, and financial reporting, with strong partnership to cross-functional teams across capital projects.

Candidate should have 3+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting, manufacturing experience, and advanced Excel skills. CPA, MAcc or MBA is a plus, relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 3+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience.
• Manufacturing, industrial, biotech or asset-intensive accounting experience preferred.
• CPA, MAcc or MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own key accounting functions including month-end close, G/L reconciliations, fixed assets, CAPEX, inventory, accruals, leases, intercompany accounting and financial reporting.
• Serve as the finance partner to cross-functional delivery teams throughout the capital project lifecycle and asset tracking.
• Analyze financial performance, costs and trends; identify opportunities for improved cost management.
• Support annual financial statements, external audits, internal controls and compliance.
• Help drive AI and automation initiatives to improve accounting processes and accelerate financial close.
• Demonstrate ownership and autonomy within a growing manufacturing environment.

• Own key accounting functions including M/E close, G/L reconciliations, fixed assets, CAPEX, inventory, accruals, leases, intercompany accounting and financial reporting
• Serve as the key finance partner to cross-functional delivery teams throughout the capital project lifecycle and asset tracking.
• Analyze financial performance, costs and trends; identify opportunities for improved cost management
• Support annual financial statements, external audits, internal controls and compliance
• Help drive AI and automation initiatives to improve accounting processes and accelerate financial close

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 3+ years of U.S. GAAP accounting experience
• Manufacturing, industrial, biotech or other asset-intensive accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong Fixed Asset and CAPEX experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient in industry ERP systems (i.e., SAP, JDE, OneStream, HFM)
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• CPA, MAcc or MBA a plus!
