Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting to lead a 10+ person team and maintain GAAP compliance across monthly closes. You will partner with the business to define process strategies, goals, metrics, and best practices aligned with organizational goals, while driving continuous process improvement.

You will oversee the close process, prepare financial packages, and support audits and ASC/ASU implementations, creating a positive, high-performing work environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA is required.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, public or corporate, preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsabilidades

• Own the monthly and quarterly close processes with accurate account reconciliations.
• Lead, hire, train, and develop a team of 10+ accounting professionals.
• Prepare and review financial reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Establish SOPs and policies for accounting operations.
• Support year-end audits and external auditor communications.
• Coordinate ASC/ASU adoption and new GAAP standards with Finance.
• Drive process improvements and ensure timely financial data delivery.
• Foster a positive work environment and high performance.
