Rumpke Waste and Recycling, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a Senior Manager of Accounting to lead a 10+ person team, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive the monthly close and internal control framework.

The role partners with finance leadership to optimize processes, deliver accurate reporting, and support audits. A CPA and 10+ years of experience are preferred for this senior-level position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CMA or Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification is required.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of 10+ accounting professionals and set priorities.
• Own the monthly and quarterly close process with timely reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial reporting for senior leadership.
• Develop and implement SOPs, policies, and controls.
