Talantir is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to partner with the CFO, overseeing the full accounting spectrum from revenue to net income and laying the groundwork for GAAP-compliant financials as the company scales.

You will lead monthly closes, manage the chart of accounts and inventory/COGS, consolidate US and foreign entities, streamline invoicing and AP, support tax filings, budgeting, audits, and mentor a growing accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of inventory and COGS accounting, preferably in consumer goods/retail.
• Experience supporting full accounting cycle and moving from cash to accrual accounting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Experience managing accounting for entities with foreign subsidiaries and consolidations.
• Hands-on experience with sales tax processes across multiple states.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (Xero/NetSuite).

Responsabilités

• Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes ensuring accuracy across financial statements.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and classify COGS and operating expenses.
• Oversee inventory accounting including reconciliation and controls.
• Prepare timely monthly financial reports for executive management with key insights.
• Transition financial statements from cash to accrual and support GAAP reporting.
• Oversee invoicing, accounts payable, and weekly bookkeeping processes.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding and ensure compliant vendor management.
• Manage sales tax and income tax filings; liaise with external tax advisors.
• Consolidate U.S. entity and foreign subsidiary accounting for reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Implement and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support periodic financial reviews and audits.
• Mentor and potentially grow a small accounting team.
