Recruiting Resources, Inc. is partnering with a unicorn startup to hire a Senior Accounting Manager to own the month-end close, multi-entity consolidation, and core accounting operations as acquisitions are integrated. This hands-on leadership role builds a scalable function and guides the team through early external audits.

The role requires leadership of close processes, technical accounting across acquisitions, and collaboration with tax advisors in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close across multiple entities and deliver accurate consolidated financial statements.
• Mentor onshore and offshore accounting staff, review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Own US GAAP application for acquisition accounting, ASC 842 leases, and related areas.
• Standardize charts of accounts and accounting policies across acquired entities.
• Oversee audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to support timely filings.
