• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive private or public accounting experience.
• Moderate Excel and reporting skills for reconciliations and reporting.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate across multiple units.
• Working knowledge of month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close calendar, entries, reconciliations, and close communications.
• Review and ensure accuracy of journal entries and financial reporting packages.
• Perform balance sheet analysis, variance explanations, and risk assessments.
• Lead accounting across multiple business units within a shared services model.
• Develop staff, review work, and promote consistent close and reporting practices.
• Support internal controls, audits, and cross‑functional issue resolution.
