Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to perform advanced accounting activities supporting accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in the month-end close, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting support.

In addition to core accounting duties, the role oversees the Expense Program (P-Card) policies, controls, and inquiries. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Ability to analyze financial data, investigate variances, and identify root causes.
• Experience preparing detailed accounting workpapers for audits.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain journal entries and reconciliations for month-end close.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct bank and cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support revenue and expense accounting processes and related schedules.
• Prepare management reports and ad hoc analyses for decision-making.
• Maintain audit-ready workpapers and support documentation.
• Coordinate with audits and inquiries; assist with process walkthroughs.
