The Agency is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to bridge our clients with the bookkeeping team. You will own client relationships on engagements, present financial results, and guide the team to accurate monthly closes. A CPA license and 10+ years of experience are required.

You will oversee daily bookkeeping work, coordinate with tax, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery for high net worth individuals and business owners in a close-knit, high-touch environment.

Competenze

• Active CPA license with 10+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong technical review skills and ability to translate financial statements for non-accountants.
• Experience reviewing others' work or supervising a small team.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online; Wave, Xero, or Odoo is a plus.
• Gusto payroll experience strongly preferred; Ramp experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain financial information clearly.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary point of contact for accounting clients across onboarding, monthly deliverables, and ad hoc requests.
• Present and explain financial statements in plain language, walking business owners through P&L, balance sheet, and cash position; address questions on results, trends, and variances.
• Set and manage client expectations on scope, timelines, and deliverables; communicate status proactively.
• Oversee client document requests and follow-ups to avoid delays in monthly close.
• Direct the bookkeeping team's day-to-day work, including remote/offshore staff; manage workloads across engagements.
• Own the monthly close calendar, track client status, and elevate bottlenecks early.
