Formación

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience leading a small to mid-size accounting team and QA reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 staff accountants and coach quality.
• Perform QA reviews of ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Review small business tax returns for accuracy and compliance (S-Corps, Partnerships, Schedule C).
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for complex accounts as needed.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients, translating financials into guidance.

Our client is seeking an experienced (General Ledger) Accounting Manager to lead workflow execution and quality review.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage the firm’s workflow schedule, keeping deadlines visible and work moving smoothly
• Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 staff accountants, answering day-to-day questions and coaching quality
• Perform quality-control reviews of general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and financial statements
• Review small business tax returns for accuracy and compliance (S-Corps, Partnerships, Schedule C)
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for more complex or high-priority accounts as needed
• Serve as a key point of contact for client questions, translating financials into clear guidance

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with heavy general ledger management and detailed QA/review work
• Experience supervising or mentoring accounting staff
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online

Nice-to-Have

• CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent)
• Experience reviewing small business tax filings and using professional tax software (e.g., Lacerte)
• Strong Excel skills
