Job Responsibilities
- Work Flow Analysis: Analyze work flow in various areas of the hotel to achieve efficiencies.
- Wastage Management: Analyze wastage throughout the hotel and implement follow-up on savings plans.
- Interdepartmental Interaction: Interact professionally with all departments to achieve results.
- Vendor Relations: Work with Purchasing to identify new vendors and products, negotiate better prices for food, beverages, engineering, and other operating supplies.
- Inventory Management: Maintain monthly inventory of all alcoholic beverage items.
- Cost Analysis: Maintain cost analysis of food, beverage, and operating expenses across all departments.
Qualifications
- College degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a managerial role within a hotel environment.
- Proficiency in Opera, MICROS, Spa Outlet System, Sun Back Office (preferred), Birch Street procurement or equivalent online procurement, and Accubar beverage inventory system or similar.
- Strong skills in developing Excel worksheets and other analytical tools.
