Job Responsibilities

1. Work Flow Analysis: Analyze work flow in various areas of the hotel to achieve efficiencies.
2. Wastage Management: Analyze wastage throughout the hotel and implement follow-up on savings plans.
3. Interdepartmental Interaction: Interact professionally with all departments to achieve results.
4. Vendor Relations: Work with Purchasing to identify new vendors and products, negotiate better prices for food, beverages, engineering, and other operating supplies.
5. Inventory Management: Maintain monthly inventory of all alcoholic beverage items.
6. Cost Analysis: Maintain cost analysis of food, beverage, and operating expenses across all departments.

Qualifications

• College degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a managerial role within a hotel environment.
• Proficiency in Opera, MICROS, Spa Outlet System, Sun Back Office (preferred), Birch Street procurement or equivalent online procurement, and Accubar beverage inventory system or similar.
• Strong skills in developing Excel worksheets and other analytical tools.
