Position Summary

Seeking a skilled Virtual Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting, manage a remote team, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee client accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage and mentor remote accountants
• Delegate tasks effectively
• Ensure timely monthly closes and reporting
• Communicate professionally with clients via video, email, and phone
• Develop internal systems for efficiency
• Assist with financial analysis, CFO services, automation
• Use cloud-based accounting software to streamline processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience, leadership preferred
• Remote team management experience (preferred)
• Strong delegation and prioritization skills
• Excellent client communication skills
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations
• Proficiency in cloud accounting software
• CPA (preferred, not required)
