Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in large public-company environments.
• Public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both will be considered.
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience interpreting and implementing accounting guidance.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting processes.
• Lead audit coordination activities and serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audit requests.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, including staff and senior-level accountants.
• Partner with operations, procurement, FP&A, and compliance teams to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled transformation efforts across Accounting and Finance.
• Support technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting guidance.
• Oversee fixed asset and lease accounting activities.
• Support ongoing financial systems initiatives, including chart of accounts and reporting structure optimization.
