LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our client in San Francisco, CA. This direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment.

The Senior Accounting Manager will lead and review accounting tasks with at least 10 years of experience, emphasizing private equity, consolidations, and GL capabilities. The role reports to the Assistant Controller and focuses on a robust close process and team leadership.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A in Accounting required.
• At least 10 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with consolidations and GL.
• Private equity experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience at a Big-4 firm is a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Well-organized with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly cash reconciliations across multiple entities and bank accounts.
• Manage accounting and reporting of long-term debt, including new issuances and covenants.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and settlements across global entities.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, and Audit teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Drive process improvements and automation in reconciliations, reporting, and close.”
• Conduct technical accounting research on complex issues such as debt modifications and hedge accounting.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff to promote a collaborative, high-performance culture.

The anticipated salary for this position is between $160,000 and $190,000 based upon a written compensation plan.
