Job summary

Ringside Talent in partnership with our client seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to lead technical accounting initiatives, oversee core accounting operations, and drive process improvements. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with manufacturing and SaaS experience in a dynamic environment.

The position focuses on U.S. GAAP, month-end close, and internal controls, with a hybrid work model based in Dublin, OH and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with people leadership.
• Strong technical accounting under U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or SaaS environments preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead technical accounting initiatives, oversee core accounting operations, and drive continuous process improvements. This role is well‑suited for a hands‑on accounting leader with experience supporting Manufacturing and SaaS business models in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting analysis and application of U.S. GAAP, including areas such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), inventory costing, capitalization, leases, and complex or non‑routine transactions
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, review, and development support
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and business leaders to ensure accurate accounting treatment for manufacturing operations and SaaS revenue streams
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance close efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and improve scalability
• Own accounting policies and procedures, ensuring documentation remains current as the business evolves
• Support internal and external audits, acting as a key point of contact for auditors
• Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership
• Strong technical accounting expertise under U.S. GAAP
• Prior experience in Manufacturing and/or SaaS environments strongly preferred
• Proven success leading process improvement or transformation initiatives
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
