We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization headquartered in Atlanta that is looking to add a Senior Accounting Manager to their team. This is a highly visible role, will manage a small accounting team, and will have a direct line to senior leadership.

*HYBRID ROLE LOCATED IN ATLANTA, MUST BE LOCAL TO THE METRO ATLANTA MARKET TO BE CONSIDERED*

Responsibilities:

• Reviews accounting entries and documentation for complex accounting areas and review annual and quarterly accounting processes
• Manage people processes, identify individual and team developmental opportunities and lead team development
• Evaluate compliance to GAAP, make process improvement recommendations, and advise others in minimizing company risk
• Oversee/Manage payroll and benefits accounting and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of adjusting journal entries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
• 8-10 years of relevant corporate accounting experience required
• 1-2+ years of management/supervisory experience required
• Revenue recognition experience required
• CPA highly preferred
