Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Senior Accounting & Consolidations Manager to lead our accounting, accounts payable and treasury functions. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee financial close, general ledger and consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization.

Based in Chicago, IL, you will coordinate with FP&A and other functions to strengthen processes and drive improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of general accounting experience, with emphasis on corporate accounting and knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• 3–5 years of people management experience leading a high‑performing team.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes with journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, lease accounting and tax equity structures.
