Job summary

MassMutual seeks an Accounting Associate II to join Corporate Subsidiaries Controllership in Boston or Springfield. You will own accounting, reporting, and control activities for MassMutual's non-insurance subsidiaries, focusing on investment activity and related results.

You will partner with Investment Management and other stakeholders to analyze transactions, resolve issues, support close and audits, and help implement process improvements and new systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of accounting, reporting, controls and/or governance experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, reporting and controls for non-insurance subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with Investment Management and stakeholders to analyze transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles.
• Lead continuous improvement in processes and controls.
• Prepare concise executive summaries for leadership.
