The role oversees day-to-day accounting transactions across AP, AR, billing, cash application, and reconciliations, supporting month-end close and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with ERP systems and Excel, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in AP, AR, or transactional accounting.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, billing, cash application, and reconciliations.
• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable including invoice review and vendor payments.
• Prepare and issue daily customer invoices; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Process cash receipts, ACH payments, and wire transfers; apply payments.
• Monitor cash activity and perform key account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and audit support.
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and other departments to resolve issues.

This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash application, and reconciliations. This role ensures efficient and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and cash receipts while supporting month-end close activities and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

• Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, vendor payments, and vendor statement reconciliations


• Prepare and issue daily customer invoices while resolving billing questions and discrepancies


• Process cash receipts, ACH payments, and wire transfers; accurately apply customer payments


• Monitor cash activity, cash balances, and perform key account reconciliations


• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and vendor or customer inquiries


• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, reporting, and audit support


• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls


• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflow efficiency


• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and other departments to resolve accounting issues and support business objectives

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• 5+ years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or transactional accounting experience


• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, billing, cash application, and account reconciliations


• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
