Kleen-Rite Corp. seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Associate to join our accounting team in Pennsylvania. This hands-on role covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, and regulatory compliance for Kleen-Rite and related entities.

Reporting to the AR/AP Manager, you will handle complex issues, mentor AP/AR staff, and provide backup to Billing. The position is full-time and on-site at our family-owned company with 60+ years of history.

Qualifications

• Required: accounting degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years in AR/AP and general accounting.
• Proficient in NetSuite and MS Office; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Process routine and non-routine AP to ensure timely payments.
• Audit vendor invoices, resolve variances, and manage credits.
• Handle AR activities including billing, deposits, and pro-form invoicing.
• Back up Billing, AR, and AP teams; support regulatory compliance.
• Assist with data analysis for customer rewards program.
• Provide guidance to AP/AR staff and support special projects.

Kleen-Rite Corp., THE reliable supplier to the car wash industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Associate to join our Accounting team.

This hands-on Senior Accounting Associate role supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, and regulatory compliance for Kleen-Rite and its related entities. Reporting to the AR/AP Manager, this position handles a variety of accounting responsibilities, resolves more complex issues, and provides backup and day-to-day support to the AP, AR, and Billing teams.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being involved in multiple areas of the accounting function. While this role is an individual contributor position with no direct reports, this role will serve as a mentor for our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Complete non routine Accounts payable processes and oversee the A/P relationship with several key accounts.
• Audit and resolve vendor billing variances, goods-received-not-invoiced discrepancies, and vendor credits.
• Complete non-routine billing and accounts receivable activities for custom orders, including preparing pro-form invoices, processing deposits, and securing final payment before shipment.
• Support the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and compliance activities for 18 related entities.
• Provide day-to-day support and backup coverage for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing team members.
• Support the customer call queue as needed by processing payments and resolving credit card declines
• Complete data analysis for our customer rewards program.
• Prepare and file licenses and other required regulatory documents within established deadlines.
• Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff with non-route process exceptions.
• Contribute to special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field; OR Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within NetSuite is a plus.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, required.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly recognize issues and clearly communicate issues to the proper parties.
• Team-oriented individual with a strong focus on both internal & external customer service.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
