Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst, Reporting & Special Projects to support the Accounting department as it grows. You will manage general accounting within operating expenses, ensure GAAP compliance, and assist with policies, internal controls, and reporting across the organization.

The role emphasizes month-end close, reconciliations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record accounting transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger data and prepare financial analyses and reports.
• Record payroll and benefit journal entries; reconcile payroll accounts with Payroll.
• Maintain lease accounting records and ASC 842 journal entries.
• Assist with internal controls over financial reporting and risk assessment.
• Support audits, tax provision and return preparation deliverables.
• Cross-train across the Accounting department and participate in ad-hoc projects.
