Job summary

Alliance Resource Group is seeking an experienced corporate accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for the company, including balance sheets and income statements, budgets, forecasts, and monthly closes. The role supports the finance team with reconciliations, cash management, and coordination across departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of corporate accounting experience (construction/real estate a plus).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and high accuracy in work.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting for corporate balance sheet and income statement.
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast in Excel.
• Complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations; manage cash flows weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end close, including project reclasses.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and adjusting entries for quarterly close in Viewpoint.
• Manage daily cash flow and monthly funding requests.
• Prepare tax workpapers and support external CPA with financial statement reviews.
• Coordinate with various departments within the company.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting duties as required.
