Job summary

Alliance Resource Group is seeking a Project Controller who will lead the Construction Accounting Department and partner with the SVP of Accounting. This role oversees the accounting operations, financial reporting for all active projects, and treasury management, ensuring timely closings and accurate projections.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of construction accounting experience
• 5+ years in management leadership in accounting
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles
• Experience with revenue recognition, job costing, and project costing

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction accounting department including Accounting Manager, Senior Accountants, billing, and AP
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly internal, quarterly external)
• Maintain financial projections including revenue and operating expenses
• Manage treasury activities and cash flow projections
• Oversee WIP tracking and reporting; collaborate with project management on cost reporting
• Develop and enforce internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
