Job summary

S&T Bancorp is seeking a finance professional to assist in managing the accounting system and preparing financial reports for senior management, the Board, shareholders, and regulators.

The role involves analyzing the financial condition and performance of the company and subsidiaries, and supporting policy compliance. The position requires a four-year degree in Accounting or Finance and 2–5 years of accounting experience in corporate/banking.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of general accounting experience in corporate and/or banking.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes the financial condition and performance of S&T Bancorp and subsidiaries.
• Processes accruals, prepares adjusting journal entries, and performs related account reconciliations.
• Monitors compliance with accounting policies and GAAP.
• Monitors integrity of the bank-wide general ledger through analysis of assigned accounts.
• Identifies improvements to accounting systems and reporting formats.
• Trains and allocates work to accounting analysts and interns.
