Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Senior Accounting Administrator to support the Accounting Supervisor and coordinate accounting administration across AR, AP, and related functions. The role involves data reconciliation between the job tracking system and the corporate accounting system and may include monthly reports and financial analysis.

The position requires 4+ years in office accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with accounting software.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
4+ years in office accounting (AR, AP, bookkeeping preferred).
4+ years’ experience with accounting software preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Power Point; Advanced Excel and data entry skills.
Understand 1099 compliance and vendor requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Accounting Supervisor to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate data flow.
Prepare data for large customer reporting and profitability analysis as needed.
Lead AR and AP teams with invoicing, training, and issue resolution.
Reconcile invoices between accounting system and customer invoicing platforms.
Prepare AR revenue accrual reports for month-end and assist project closeouts.
