Karman Industries in Signal Hill, California, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The role owns month-end reconciliations and accruals, manages accounts payable and accounts receivable, and supports project accounting and system transitions.

We value first-principles thinking, hands-on problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver accurate, timely financials as we scale from prototype to volume production. This is an on-site role with no travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3+ years progressive accounting experience incl. AP/AR and month-end close.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review month-end reconciliations and accrual entries prepared by outsourced team, ensuring completeness and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Review and approve credit card transaction categorizations prior to posting in QuickBooks.
• Support project accounting, including cost tracking and budget-to-actual reporting on active projects.
• Own the accounts payable process, including three-way match and payment.
• Own the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, and collections.
• Support data migration, testing, and process documentation for system implementations.
• Partner with the broader team to strengthen close processes, internal controls, and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, and other teams for accurate recording.
• Support internal and external audit requests with documentation and analysis.
