Job summary

OmniOn Power seeks a Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting to support the company’s transition to being public and its ongoing SEC reporting obligations. You will help with SEC filings, financial statement prep, technical accounting research, SOX compliance and readiness initiatives.

Located at OmniOn Power HQ in Plano, TX, the role reports to the Senior Director of Global Accounting and requires IFRS/financial reporting expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 36 years of progressive accounting, audit, SEC reporting, or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting research.
• Ability to draft clear, well-supported technical memoranda.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings, financial statements, footnotes, and disclosure schedules.
• Maintain disclosure checklists, calendars, version control, and supporting docs.
• Support XBRL tagging and coordination with filing service providers.
• Draft audit-ready technical memoranda and analyses for SEC Reporting leadership.
• Assist with revenue recognition, leases, share-based compensation, debt/equity, and IPO matters.
• Monitor IFRS/SEC developments and update accounting policies and documentation.
• Support SOX compliance activities and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate across Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and external auditors.
• Assist month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reconciliations.
