Job summary

Oklo seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to strengthen its SEC reporting and accounting function. You will prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, tie disclosures to the GL, and support month-end close while ensuring SOX compliance in a fast-growing startup environment.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will work with cross-functional partners, perform technical research on new standards, and coordinate with auditors to deliver accurate, on-time filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of public accounting with focus on SEC registrants.
• Strong familiarity with ASC literature and ability to research accounting topics.
• Active CPA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC reporting, including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K financial statements, footnotes, schedules, and packages.
• Perform detailed tie-outs of financial statements to the general ledger and supporting workpapers.
• Maintain financial reporting workpapers for cash flows, EPS, stock-based compensation, equity and leases.
• Assist with technical accounting research and new transaction analyses under US GAAP.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close procedures and SOX controls.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and respond to inquiries.
• Support equity accounting and reporting related to stock-based compensation and other equity transactions.
