Oklo Inc. in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. You will prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and own key close activities to meet monthly, quarterly, and SEC reporting deadlines.

The role requires hands-on experience with NetSuite, FloQast, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, collaborating with AP, payroll, and other teams. Some travel to headquarters may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive general accounting experience with month-end close.
• Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries in NetSuite.
• Maintain journal-entry support and ensure timely close.
• Complete balance sheet and income statement reconciliations in FloQast.
• Research and resolve reconciling items and unusual activity.
• Own monthly and quarterly close tasks and communicate status.
• Support financial reporting and SEC schedules.
• Assist internal controls and SOX compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with AP, payroll, procurement for entries.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to automate close processes.
