Nextpower is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support SEC reporting, quarterly and annual close, and external audits. You will prepare accurate financial statements, disclosures, and SEC filings while partnering with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Investor Relations, and other teams.

The ideal candidate has strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to high-quality reporting, controls, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement presentation.
• Experience with quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly and annual SEC reporting and 10-Q/10-K filings.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures per US GAAP.
• Support external audit processes and respond to auditor requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional data with Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, IR.
• Maintain SOX controls documentation and pursue process improvements.
