Oklo is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting team in Santa Clara. You will own assigned close activities, prepare journal entries in NetSuite, and perform reconciliations in FloQast to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The role emphasizes SOX controls, audit readiness, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will work with teams across the business to resolve issues, improve processes, and support quarterly and annual financial reporting, including SEC schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive general accounting experience, including month‑end close.
• Experience preparing and posting journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and proficient Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and non‑recurring journal entries in NetSuite, including accruals, prepaids, allocations, reclassifications, and other month‑end adjustments.
• Maintain journal‑entry support, ensure accuracy, approval, and posting within close timeline.
• Complete balance sheet and income statement reconciliations in FloQast and tie to NetSuite GL.
• Research, document, and resolve reconciling items and unusual activity promptly.
• Own monthly and quarterly close tasks in FloQast and communicate status and dependencies.
• Run and analyze NetSuite GL, trial balance, and transaction reports to support close.
• Prepare roll‑forwards, schedules, and variance analyses for management review.
• Collaborate with AP, payroll, procurement, and other teams to ensure complete information for entries.
• Support SEC reporting schedules and internal/external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate journal entries and reconciliations.
