Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is hiring a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join the SEC team. This role partners with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Operations to deliver accurate financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.

The position requires a strong U.S. GAAP foundation, public company reporting experience, and meticulous attention to detail. Hybrid work is available with minimum in-office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification.
• 3+ years of Big 4 or national public accounting experience, or 5+ years of progressive financial reporting experience with a public company.
• Experience with SEC filings (10-Q/10-K).
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings and public documents.
• Consolidate multi-entity financial statements and prepare monthly packages.
• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Support SOX controls and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
