Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join our SEC and Financial Reporting team. You will prepare SEC filings, manage multi-entity consolidation, and deliver timely financial disclosures. This hands-on role partners across Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, IR, and Operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification.
• 3+ years of Big 4 or national public accounting experience, or 5+ years of progressive financial reporting with a public company.
• Experience with SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) and multi-entity reporting.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots, lookups, and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain schedules for quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Consolidate multi-entity financial statements and prepare monthly reporting packages.
• Handle ASC 842 lease accounting entries and related analyses.
• Support SOX compliance and interact with internal/external auditors.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, IR, and Operations.
