Job summary

Rad AI, a leading healthcare AI company, seeks a Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations for a rapidly growing SaaS business. You will drive the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll and intercompany activity, and audit support while partnering with cross‑functional teams.

You should bring 4+ years of accounting experience, solid US GAAP knowledge, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ability to analyze financial statements.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and schedules.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll accounting for U.S. and Canadian payrolls, benefits, bonuses, and liabilities.
• Handle general ledger accounts including cash, prepaids, accrued expenses, and fixed assets.
• Oversee accounts payable and spend management, vendor onboarding, and 1099 support.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial activity and resolve issues before close.
• Maintain audit-ready schedules and provide supporting documentation.
