Rad AI in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations, including close, reconciliations, payroll, A/P, and intercompany activity. You will collaborate with FP&A and People Ops to strengthen controls in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement analysis.
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, rollforwards.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies and drive resolution.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review payrolls in the U.S. and Canada and manage related accounting and liabilities.
• Oversee cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, Opex, intercompany activity, and other ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable, Ramp onboarding, vendor data controls, and 1099 support.
• Ensure accuracy of financial activity and resolve variances before close.
• Maintain audit-ready schedules and support documentation.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and internal control improvements.
• Help automate manual processes and scale close procedures.
• Communicate accounting issues clearly with finance and non-finance partners.
