Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage outsourced accounting for clients in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors. You will oversee full-cycle accounting, leading month-end closes and delivering accurate financial statements.

Ideal candidates have GAAP knowledge, 3–5 years of experience at staff accountant level or higher, and strong client management and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with full accounting cycle, AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, fixed assets, and loans.
• Ability to lead month-end close and deliver timely financial statements.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accurate financial reporting for clients.
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple client engagements.
• Lead month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Apply GAAP and ensure accuracy and compliance of financial data.
• Onboard new clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify growth opportunities and support service expansion.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate simultaneous engagements.
• Ensure timely delivery and accurate reporting across engagements.
• Maintain secure, efficient workflows and project deadlines.
