Attivo Partners, a San Francisco‑based finance and accounting consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant for a work-from-home role with a location preference in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will own critical accounting tasks and help scale our accounting function as the company grows rapidly.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with GAAP expertise and familiarity with software like QuickBooks Online, Xero,

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge is required.
• Experience with common accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta) is preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Fast learner with curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
• Enjoy teamwork and contributing to Attivo’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting duties (AP, AR, cash, payroll, GL) and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with monthly close by posting journals, reconciling accounts, and providing ad-hoc analyses.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal groups to ensure high-quality service.
• Contribute to projects and special assignments as needed.
