Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Sr Accountant to join a dynamic, multi-entity finance team. The role emphasizes technical accounting, process improvements, and ownership of the month-end and quarterly close.

You will work across Finance, FP&A, Payroll, Benefits, and AR, leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and accelerate the close while upholding internal controls and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting experience with GL and month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience with intercompany transactions in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and quarter-end close activities and associated reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Payroll, Benefits, and AR to ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to streamline close.
