Job summary

LeoForce in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our growing team. You will manage journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and compile financial reports.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience and proficiency with Excel. This position offers a competitive salary of $80,000–$90,000 per year and a collaborative, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Detail oriented and organized in work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries while keeping the general ledger accurate and up to date.
• Review project expenses and ensure costs are properly capitalized.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and other departments to gather information for project accounting.
• Track and record capital activity including capital calls, distributions and transfers.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle monthly sales and use tax reporting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to project activity.
• Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and coordinating with external auditors.
• Partner with the tax team to provide documentation for tax filings.
