Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its Accounting + Finance team in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on job costing, construction and property accounting, and year-end close, with thorough GL maintenance and cash-flow analysis.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, familiarity with Yardi, and a CPA/CMA is a plus. The position offers stability as a permanent hire with strong growth potential within a private equity–backed firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Accounting + Finance.
• Experience with job costing, construction accounting, property accounting, project accounting, year-end close, GL, cash flow, financial statements, invoicing, Yardi, loan draws and construction draws.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Strong numerical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Yardi or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Manage job costing, construction, property, and project accounting procedures.
• Oversee year-end close and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain the general ledger and conduct regular data audits for integrity.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow and financial statements and other reports.
• Process invoices, loan draws, and construction draws timely and accurately.
• Utilize Yardi for property management/accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with finance team to streamline processes and improve reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and stay updated on industry trends.
