Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; master's or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction accounting or similar field.
• Strong GAAP understanding and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with accounting software and system implementations.
• Experience with journal entries, cash flow, and labor payments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions: AP, AR, GL, and taxes.
• Coordinate preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Manage and track performance of invested assets.
• Oversee fiscal reporting activities, including tax reports.
• Supervise payroll processing and labor payments.
• Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Implement cost recovery and internal control systems.
• Collaborate with teams to support company goals.
• Assist with annual audits and procedural improvements.
