Job summary

SEnergy is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Boerne, TX. You will perform high-level accounting functions including project accounting, GL maintenance, financial reporting, and oversight of AP and credit card reconciliation.

This role supports the Financial Controller to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial operations across departments. The position is located at the Boerne office and involves working closely with project managers to provide reports and ensure budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–7 years of financial accounting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Backup to Financial Controller as needed.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor payments, and credit card reconciliations.
• Enter and track project budgets and client invoices.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Document processes and pursue efficiency improvements.
