Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support our outsourced accounting practice. The role focuses on delivering back-office and fractional accounting services to a diverse client base while upholding our high standards of client service.

The position requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, solid Excel skills, and the ability to manage monthly close processes with attention to detail. Experience with multiple GL systems and AI tools is considered a bonus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting and/or Big 4/public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail with ability to multitask.
• Experience with monthly close and financial statement prep a must.
• Experience with multiple GL systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct) is a bonus.
• Experience with Floqast is a bonus.
• Experience with AI tools (Claude, Gemini) is a bonus.
• Background check and drug screen on offer.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting and/or Big 4/public accounting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel

• Operational accounting and monthly close experience
• Process and procedures documentation experience is a bonus
• Financial statement preparation experience is a bonus
• SEC filing exposure/experience is a bonus
• Experience with multiple general ledger systems, such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct, is a bonus
• Experience with close management programs, such as Floqast, is a bonus
• Experience with AI tools, such as Claude and Gemini, is a bonus
• Background check and drug screen upon offer of employment
