Jobtailor is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage quarterly journal entries, consolidation activities, and intercompany reporting in a hybrid Boston office. The role requires expertise in GAAP/IFRS, transfer pricing, and equity accounting, with collaboration across FP&A, tax, and treasury teams.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA or public accounting background, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quarterly journal entries supporting ledger close, including transfer pricing and GAAP adjustments.
  • Review quarterly financial statement presentation journal entries prepared by offshore associates.
  • Prepare and review quarter-end analytics and consolidated equity rolls on IFRS and GAAP bases.
  • Perform quarterly consolidation review, dividend analysis, and intercompany analysis.
  • Execute transfer pricing program work, including adapting to business developments and conducting new studies.
  • Liaise with FP&A, tax, and actuarial teams to meet company needs.
  • Lead intercompany reporting, including monthly and quarterly reporting and follow-up on stale items.
  • Collaborate with treasury and accounting team members.
  • Maintain ledger integrity through annual ledger maintenance reviews and consolidation of existing entries.
  • Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations and quarterly control certifications.
  • Provide financial statement support, intercompany management, and dividend recommendations.
  • Support year-end audits and work with auditors to close different areas.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on non-life subsidiaries, equity accounting, intercompany relationships, consolidation, and transfer pricing.
  • Lead training initiatives related to transfer pricing, intercompany, and non-life accounting.
  • Handle ad-hoc and annual reporting requests.

Requirements
